MISSION 08: HANDFUL OF HOPE
Operation: ---

MISSION NAME: ----
DATE: 2010/10/22
TIME: 1200HRS
AREA: AKERSON HILL
LOCATION: 0728'19"N 16803'23"E

Briefing:
Since we thwarted their invasion, we haven't seen any major offensive operation by the enemy for several weeks. Almost like we are at peace again, people? Anyway, let's start the briefing.

Yuktobanian combat operations have been dormant since their failed large scale invasion and the loss of their underwater carrier Scinfaxi. However, there is still concern of a possible infiltration by small scale forces from the ground and the air. You will split into flights of two and carry out patrols in the area from Akerson Hill to the nothern coast line. The airspace above the green fields extending around the Akerson is covered by our Osean AA system. The system automatically fires missiles at any hostile aircraft it detects. Patrol the nothern coast line of Akerson Hill which is out our AA system's range.

Ground Target(s):
5 x Windmill (You must destroy all these to allow Mother Goose 1 to land safely.)

Enemies:

Air Target(s):
2 x F-14A Tomcat

Shouldn't this be:

I find it ironic that Chopper complains about bagging transport C-5s in that radar mission (forgot the name, it's the one after Reprisal) when he's having to bag WIND TURBINES in this mission! Also, you wrote "Windhill" instead of "Windmill", and put them in the allies; I know they're not actually hostile, but you have to destroy them, otherwise the transport crashes into them because they're really tall and the guy at the driver's seat has no pilot experience whatsoever.. tongue.gif One last thing, wasn't it a C-5B that Mother Goose was flying?

Only 5 of them become targets and threats to the C-5. And I'm not sure which category the wind turbines should go into. They're not actually hostile, and they're in your territory, but they threaten to cause the C-5 to crash so...also, I noticed there's a wind farm in Blockade in Ace Combat 4, and if you shoot those wind turbines, Sky Eye gives you the hold fire message.

How can a windmill be a threat to a C-5?

It crashes into them obviously. Just so you know, most wind turbines are bigger than An-225s. Don't forget the guy replacing the injured copilot and dead captain is just a secretary and can't fly to save his life...no pun intended.

So, a Wind turbine has a blade rotation diameter of 290ft 2in(wingspan of the An-225) plus?! I, sir, call bullshit.

YOU JUST LOST THE GAME.

Also, the rotor diameter of that turbine is 1.15 times bigger than an American Football (AKA rugby for pussies) field.

Did you read what I Said????? You have to destroy all the ones targeted in your HUD which is only 5.. You can't destroy any of the ones not trageted, so it doesn't matter. If you actually read and could comprehend what I said, I was correct... You don't have to destroy ALL the windmills in the area, just the ones targeted in the HUD..

........and they are Targeted as Windmills your HUD, not wind turbines, so that is what they are referred to as in the mission brief..

If we were to put Wind Turbine, you guys would proabably bitch about that because in the game they aren't called wind turbines.

So the information doesn't need to be re-written or changed in any way.

I didn't even say change it to Wind Turbines. dry.gif

And you don't get your point across to me any further by sticking 5 question marks in one sentence.
