Operation: Folk Dance
MISSION NAME: FOLK DANCE
DATE: 2010/11/07
TIME: 0630HRS
AREA: SONZA
LOCATION: 08°15'03"N 111°04'04"E
Briefing:
I will now brief the details of your mission orders. That's all I have to say to you right now, people. If you all are really innocent, and I suggest you prove it out there on the battlefield.
We have confirmed the existence of a Yuktobanian munitions factory in the arid region of Sonza. According to our information, they have already produced a new shipment of arms that are about to be airlifted to the front by a squadron of enemy transport aircraft.
Carry out an attack on the facility and keep these transports making the delivery. Unfortunately, this factory is well protected by a solid radar network. The network consists of a group of interlinked radar sites. If even one radar site builds off-line, the system is designed to immediately report the problem to the factory. However, according to our analysis, if all four radar sites can be destroyed simultaneously, then we'll be able to delay the warning of the attack. Thanks to jamming from our electronic warfare planes, we've just managed to open up an attack quarter to the radar sites. Your squadron will split up and fly four routes, infiltrate the area, synchronize your attacks and destroy all four radar sites at the same time.

Beat the game once and move on to the B-missions, then complete the B-missions.
Then go on to the A-missions the next time around?

I personally found it a good device to disarm the bunkers in Mission 9 (Lit Fuse) and Mission 18, but helpless in Mission 18+.
Anyways, that would be it, V1.

Naturally, it doesn't compare to the likes of the FB-22 "Concept," but I still like it. Then again, I'm biased. I fly that plane whenever I can. I just like 'em.

I tried using the MiG-29 for that mission, and I found that the Su-27 and F-15E produce similar results to it. It does fairly well for the first part, but it takes longer for the carpet bombing part.

That's true. The MiG-29 is great for general-purpose, but... yeah, it's not very good at achieving that spread. You have to loop around and attack targets several times to be sure that you've mopped up everything. It's still a nice little plane; very sleek and easy to handle in.
The Flanker's also excellent, too, yes. I found the Strike Eagle a little... clunky? I could be thinking of the way it handled in AC0, but it struck me as a little difficult to handle (which is apparently on-target for the real Strike Eagle; apparently they are a little picky on occasion). To each their own! I should try again with the Strike Eagle, though. Can't remember if it handles better in AC5 or not. XD

btw, i count the targets when i playing, and then i confirm with the record. But in the record appear one "missile" like Air Target.... Somebody can say me what mean that?.... i think one nuke missile charged by one C-5B, because they are the main target....
