THE WINDS OF FUTURO
ACZ - Futuro Canal Aerial Patrol Group

Background:
The Winds of Futuro was an experienced aerial patrol group that guarded the Futuro Canal, a vital Belkan position. The Winds of Futuro consisted of three two-man teams; The Gabel, Schakal, and Postler Squadrons. Each squadron was assigned to a different area of the canal.

Gabel Squadron patrolled the Northern entrance of the canal, where portions of the Belkan fleet was stationed. Schakal Squadron patrolled the Southern entrance of the canal, protecting the refinery and port facilities. Postler Squadron patrolled the entire length of Futuro Canal, defending against any enemy forces moving through the canal.

During the Allied Nations counter-offensive, Campaign #4101, The Winds of Futuro were deployed in their operational sectors to defend against Allied air strikes and the Osean 3rd Fleet, which was attempting to transit through the canal. While defending the canal, The Winds of Futuro were all shot down by the Ustian 6th Air Division 66th Air Force Unit Galm Team, which helped the Allies successfully take control of the canal. "Feelin's? Look, mate, you know who has a lot of feelin's? Blokes what bludgeon their wife to death with a golf trophy. Professionals have standards: be polite, be efficient, have a plan to kill everyone you meet."
-The Sniper, Team Fortress 2

"Heroes who shed their blood and lost their lives! You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours. You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well."
-Mustafa Kemal Autaturk, President of Turkey.
