Geography:
The Sandbury Desert is a well-known, desolate area on the Usean Continent. It is positioned east of Altoora Desert in northern region. Sandbury is very dry and full with reddish-brown sand, surrounded with extremely narrow canyons and rocks. It is close to the San Salvacion border. By the 2040s, three rivers had run through this area and the aridity of the climate lessened. Eventually General Resource LTD. had established a large geodesic dome in Sandbury, which acted as a research facility and defense college. Neucom Inc. later constructed a biotechnology plant and laboratory in Sandbury.

Operation Cavalry:
During the Usea coup d'etat in 1998, a Unified Forces Intelligence Unit's reconnaissance E-767, callsign "Stage Coach", was shot down by the Usean rebel group in the middle of Sandbury Desert. While the rescue unit was sent off to the crash area, the Rebellion attempted to fail the effort by sending ground-attacking air force and ground units and steal the Unified Forces' military codes stored onboard. Scarface One was assigned to commence the escort operation and rescue the downed plane at all cost with short amount of time.

Operation One Way Ticket:
In 2040, during the Corporate War, the UPEO suddenly received information that multiple Neucom researchers were abducted and being sent to a large geodesic dome. The UPEO dispatched the SARF across Sandbury Desert to rescue the researchers immediately. A large armored train escorted by fighters met the SARF head on, but the train was successfully dismantled car by car until it was finally stopped due to battle damage.
