UFMC fighter over Waiapolo Mountains (UFMC: 1998)
Geography
The Waiapolo Mountains are a mountain range in Central Usea. There were some rivers in the region, but they have dried up and became forested shortly after the Ulysses asteroid impact.
Operation Power Play
Scarface Squadron came to this region sometime around mid-late 1998, during the Usean Rebellion. Their objective is to destroy the main anti-air defenses protecting the Waiapolo hydroelectric power plant. In under 10 minutes, they defeat the Z.O.E Colonel in his modified YF-22 Raptor aircraft, eradicated all aircraft in the area, and destroyed the anti-air defenses. The power plant would later be closed due to the asteroid impacting in the area.
Operation Bravado
During the Corporate War of 2040, the Universal Peace Enforcement Organization's (UPEO) SARF consisting of Nemo, Erich, Rena & Fiona were sent to the region to destroy Neucom's radio jammers that were jamming GR (General Resource) airspace. They destroyed the Neucom jammers in the region, not to mention destroying the NEU military base on the mountain base & mountain top.
Operation Soldier Of Fortune
If Nemo stayed with A GRDF Fighter Squadron attacked an NEU Tactical Fighter Squadron stationed at the airbase. In under 3 minutes, the GRDF team destroyed the 8 R-201 units before they even hit the air. Afterwards, there were was major fighting in that region after this operation.
Operation Broken Truce
If Nemo decided to stay with the UPEO, he would team with Fiona & Erich to protect the base from the wrath of the GRDF. The team defeated the force of 4 F-15S/MT Eagles, 2x B-1C Lancer Bombers and escort aircraft in the area. GRDF aces Dision & Keith were also seen in the area.
