Cruik Fortress
- The Impregnable Fortress -

Geography:
The area around Cruik Fortress is part of the mountainous foot hills of the Vladimir Mountain Range. The area appears to have a temperate climate with patches of pine trees. The numerous valleys that criss-cross through the area appear to be steep, but covered with vegetation.

Operation Doodlebug:
Situated as the last line of defense for the Yuktobanian army as well as the capital city of Cinigrad, Cruik Fortress was thought to be "unconquerable" by ground attack, due to it's heavy static defenses, battle-hardened troops, and the presence of elite air force pilots. Desperate, Osean central command deployed the Wardog Squadron to provide air support for the attacking ground units. Once they had breached the fortress gate, the Osean armor encountered stiff resistance from the defending Yuktobanian forces. The Yuktobanian air force's elite aces; who were also stationed at the fortress, attempted to push the Osean forces back, but all were shot down by Wardog. Thanks to the 'Demons of Razgriz' the Oseans were successful in capturing Cruik Fortress.
