[ACE COMBAT 2 INVITATION PROMO]

01 Invitation to Ace Combat 2
02 Night Butterfly
03 A.C. Revolution

About the Composers:
The AC2 score was created by a total of four composers: Nobuhide Isayama, Kohta Takahashi, Hiroshi Okubo and Tetsukazu Nakanishi.

Nobuhide Isayama was part of the Air Combat Namco Sound Team, but at the end of AC2, he left the company.

Kohta Takahashi joined the Ace Combat Namco Sound Team for AC2, composed about half of the AC2 score and did most of the guitar work. After AC2's production, Kohta stopped working on the Ace Combat series for unknown reasons, and later focused his music on the Ridge Racer series. Takanori Goto took his place for guitars for the production of AC4.

Hiroshi Okubo and Tetsukazu Nakanishi actually took control of the entire Namco Sound Team in 1995, after the previous music team, SamplingMasters, left Namco to pursue other interests (they still provide music for Ridge Racer, however). It is unknown if Hiroshi or Tetsu actually composed tracks for Air Combat, although it is confirmed that they worked on AC2. Both composers remain with the team to this day.

Here is the track list with confirmed composers involved:

Aerial Hawk - Tetsukazu Nakanishi
Aim High - Hiroshi Okubo
Blow Away - TN
Briefing - Kohta Takahashi (with help from TN)
Dead End - TN
Dynapolis - HO
Dystopia - KT
El Dorado - KT
Fire Youngman - HO

Melt Down - TN
Night and Day - Nobuhide Isayama

Ok, this article needs to be uptated a bit. I got this info from my contact.

The AC2 score was composed by a total of four composers: Nobuhide Isayama, Kohta Takahashi, Hiroshi Okubo and Tetsukazu Nakanishi.

Nobuhide Isayama was part of the Air Combat Namco Sound Team, but at the end of AC2, he left the company.

Kohta Takahashi joined the Ace Combat Namco Sound Team for AC2, composed about half of the AC2 score and did most of the guitar work. After AC2's producction, Kohta stopped working on the Ace Combat series for unknown reasons, and later focused his music on the Ridge Racer series.

Here is track list with confirmed composers involved. It's not all of them, but it's all I can get from my contact for now. I'll have to ask him for the rest later:

Aerial Hawk - Tetsukazu Nakanishi
Aim High - Hiroshi Okubo
Blow Away - TN
Briefing - Kohta Takahashi (with help from TN)
Dead End - TN
Dynapolis - HO
Dystopia - KT
El Dorado - KT
Fire Youngman - HO
Into the Geo - TN
Melt Down - TN
Night and Day - Nobuhide Isayama
Sunset Glow - KT
Invoke (hm...it seems that it's unlisted in the article..) - KT
Lode Stone - KT

EDIT: Hm, and it's seems that whoever is getting that whoever downloads the "Ace Combat 2 Invitation Promo" is getting screwed, big time. The "Ace Combat 2 Original Sound Invitation" is the real name of the live sampler album. However, Hiroshi and Tetsu produced tracks that included much more remixes of songs like "Aim High," "Into the Geo," "Bear Tracks," and "Melt Down," that were not released on the CD. Hiroshi and Tetsu were responsible for all the tracks in the December 1997-Early 1998 remix period, since they were the only ones left in the AC Namco Sound Team.. laugh.gif
