Biography:
Nemo, "Nought; Nobody", is the 'codename' of AC3's main protagonist. It is a highly intelligent computer programme developed by Simon, capable of flying aircraft and completing missions it is tasked with. It also has its own free will and personality, reaching as far as switching sides and joining the enemy if desired.

Since Nemo is in essence a programme, it is capable of completing sorties with extreme efficiency possibly unmatched by human pilots. The thought and reaction intervals normally present in humans are eliminated, and it can withstand as much G-forces as the airframe could theoretically handle. It could also load itself through an available connection into the Electrosphere or enemy aircraft.

Nemo itself is only, however, part of the big picture. A few years prior to the events of Ace Combat 3, Simon also created a mission simulator to examine all possible outcomes of a potential future Corporate War, and whether the creation of exceptionally intelligent AI pilots like Nemo would help stop the war from breaking loose. The whole programme, with the Nemo coding and the Simulator is collectively called the Nemo Project.

At the end of the game, Simon realizes that Nemo can kill Dision under any circumstances, no matter what choices the AI makes. Upon making this conclusion, he wipes the Nemo Project from the electrosphere, and releases Nemo into the real world.

Various Paths of Nemo:
Nemo started out under direct control from UPEO, working together with Fiona, Rena and Erich, attempting to hose down the igniting tension between two of USEA's dominant corporations, General Resource and Neucom, and their military forces. Its first use in the Corporate War was to protect Expo City, one of GR's important military bases and one of its largest cities, from offensive Neucom forces. The programme proved itself when it completely annihilated all enemy aircraft and additional reinforcements in under three minutes, with little help from its wingmen.

Nemo was subsequently chosen to eliminate a Neucom radar jamming facility near the Waiapolo mountain range, to clear General Resource's air routes crossing the area. Again, it wasn't long before Nemo completed his mission with almost no resistance.

After faring equally well in training missions, scoring over 5000 points (A rank requirement) in a joint training programme between the GRDF and SARF, Nemo started attracting one of General Resource's higher up commanders' attention, namely Abyssal Dision. Dision's fascination with Nemo's capabilities went as far as asking him to betray the "Paper Tiger" (hinting at UPEO's bias towards GR) and defect to General Resource.

This was the first time Nemo had the chance to act on his own free will.

SEE UPEO, DECISION POINT 1

The NEMO Project, Decision Point 1, UPEO Path:
Nemo turned down Dision's offer, and joined Fiona, Rena, and Erich back to base, proving its loyalty to UPEO. A few days later, they were given the task of defending a Neucom base situated in the Waiapolo mountain range from attacking GRDF aircraft. Working cooperatively with Neucom fighters, Nemo completed its mission successfully. In an alternative scenario, Nemo also shot down Keith along with the enemy aircraft, Dision's long time friend and wingman, in this mission.

Sometime later, Dision succeeded in deluding Rena into seeking her past with General Resource and the Night Raven Project. Nemo could then choose to join her on her mini quest, or stay with his mates at UPEO waiting for her return. In the scenario where Nemo followed her into her quest, it was given the burden of stopping a biochemical gas terrorist attack on Axel Bay, giving Nemo the first hint at the presence of the Ouroboros undercover organization. Nemo succeeded in protecting the city, where it rejoined a disappointed Rena, who failed to "discover the ultimate truth about herself". They both headed back to UPEO.

After a limited period of peace, Nemo was given the task to protect an R-505U with UPEO official Gabriel Clarkson and Fiona onboard from enemy GRDF aircraft. Obeying orders, Nemo successfully eliminated the threat, only to see the R-505 betray UPEO and is heading for Neucom. As a result, Nemo was given orders to shoot down the airliner along with its fellow copilot before they make it to Neucom, and the choice whether to fullfill its task or spare Fiona's life and join Neucom.

SEE UPEO, DECISION POINT 2

UPEO, Decision Point 2:
After proving its loyalty a second time, Nemo is sent through several anti GR missions before confronting the terrorist organization it encountered a few missions earlier, the Ouroboros. The organization deployed their ultimate prototype fighter, the X-49, stolen from General Resource several years ago. Piloted by Nemo's own wingman, Rena destroyed the entire floating fortress of Megafloat in a single shot. Nemo and Erich were tasked to handle endless flocks of Ouroboros fighters, then the Sphyrna itself.

Unable to destroy the flying fortress on their own, an amnesiac Rena destroyed the terrorists' headquarters using her Nightraven. Not far later, Nemo and Erich returned to raid the UPEO headquarters. After a long and exhausting showdown, they succeeded in destroying the base and in a daunting move by Nemo, killing its evil official Gilbert Park. The two pilots reunited with Rena aside her crashed fighter by the coast.
UPEO ENDING

The NEMO Project, Decision Point 2, Neucom Path:
Nemo chose to spare Fiona's life, breaks out of UPEO's control leaving Erich and Rena behind and joining the R-505 back to Neucom, where it was introduced to Fiona's older sister, Cynthia. Together with the two sisters, not long after their reunion, Nemo was given its first sortie under Neucom control: to destroy several GRDF facilities in White Valley. Under directions from Cynthia, Nemo destroyed enemy Blackbirds, oil tankers, several radar sites and the bases themselves in that specific order. A showdown between Nemo and Dision's wingman, Keith, unfolded for several minutes before the latter was shot down.

On returning to base, Nemo was given orders to defend an R-808 Neucom Space Shuttle from enemy GRDF forces. The Shuttle carried on board valuable information about General Resource's new superweapon, the Orbital Satellite Laser (OSL). The shuttle landed rather abruptly in the midst of an atmosphere saturated with violent dogfights, and Neucom was surprised to know the OSL is ready to go in less than fourty eight hours. Neucom forced Nemo into their new experimental orbital fighter aircraft, the Sepia, in an attempt to destroy the weapon before it's too late. Nemo was launched into the outer space, exited the atmosphere with no radio contact just three minutes before the weapon is fully armed and ready to fire. In an astonishing feat, Nemo destroyed all four OSL satellites a whole minute (A-rank requirement) before they got the chance to fire.

Later, on the ground, Neucom and GRDF raced for the satellite remains. With help from the NEU, GR Hydrofoils were destroyed and Neucom Hydrofoils made it first to the crash site.

Days after the OSL crisis settled down, Nemo, Fiona and Cynthia were given orders to infiltrate a GR base deep in their radar network in White Valley. The trio flew under 1000 feet to avoid blowing their cover and carpet bombed the radar base once they were cleared to engage. After the mission was over, Cynthia made her decision to follow her desire to join Ouroboros as a candidate of the Sublimation Project, and Nemo was faced with the choice whether to follow Cynthia or stay loyal to Neucom with Fiona.

SEE OUROBOROS, DECISION POINT 4

The Nemo Project, Decision Point 4, Neucom Path:
Nemo chose to stay with Fiona under Neucom control. Nemo entered its biggest fight yet against the Sphyrna, lasting for over three missions dogfighting with its countless escorts and the Sphyrna itself. In the climax of the battle, Cynthia appeared on radar and attacked both Nemo and Fiona. Nemo, seeing Fiona reluctant to shoot down her own sister, took down Cynthia surprisingly without much resistance. Later into the battle, Nemo finally shot down the Sphyrna, which deployed two aircraft, the X-49 and the Aurora, before plunging into the sea.

The two superaircraft entered the Geofront via the ventilation holes (with Nemo and Fiona on their tail) where a huge fight between the X-49 and the two unfolds. With help from Simon hacking into the X-49's system in an attempt to slow it down, Nemo successfully shot down the Night Raven over the underground city and proceeds to attack Dision. After a long, drawn out showdown, Nemo, with help from Fiona, took down the Aurora and ended the Ouroboros threat.
NEUCOM ENDING

The Nemo Project, Decision Point 4, Ouroboros Path:
Nemo decided to follow Cynthia into Ouroboros, where both were given orders to raid the UPEO HQ. After a long, boring, night time attack, Nemo took on the Sphyrna over the destroyed Megafloat, followed by Dision in his Aurora. Not long after the showdown has ended and Dision was shot down, Nemo and Cynthia followed the X-49 Night Raven into the underground metropolis, the Geofront.

Nemo, Cynthia and Rena engaged in a huge dogfight in the tight spaces of the Geofront. Feeling unable to flex her muscles and use her plane's speed underground, Rena left the Geofront and headed to Port Edwards, where the Night Raven could utilise the existing aeonosphere to its advantage. Nemo and Cynthia, unable to harm the Night Raven with its newly found abilities, went for the aeon generators in an attempt to exterminate the aeonosphere over the city. Barely surviving a chain of near misses, Nemo succeeded in destroying the aeonosphere and engaged the weakened Night Raven in one last dogfight in which he eventually won.

OUROBOROS ENDING B

The Nemo Project, Decision Point 1, General Resources path:
Nemo followed Dision to GRDF. A few days later, Nemo received his first mission with GRDF, which was to attack a Neucom base defended by Neucom and UPEO fighters. In a decision backed up by Nemo's performance in that mission, GDRF tasked the AI pilot miscellaneous attacks on Neucom bases all over USEA. Nemo destroyed Nuecom forces in Megafloat and their power-plant (in an alternative scenario, Nemo flew to Expo City to do a covert mission on a UPEO installation, where Dision and Rena meet again).

Nemo then flew a mission to destroy Neucom's heavy attack-transport squadron, consisting of Moburas and Remoras, in the stratosphere above White Valley. After successfully destroying Neucom's fleet, Nemo received the next text to destroy a secret UPEO transport piloted by his old teammate, Fiona. Early in the engagement, Erich (also a former teammate) was shot down by Nemo. Nemo then moved on to attack and destroy the transport.

The destruction of Neucom forces continued in Comona Islands and in the fjords of Petrol Coast. Succesfully destroying the Neucom fleet above Petrol Coast, Dision offers Nemo a chance to defect to Ouroboros, to be free and force his way out of control. The choice was to join Dision and Ouroboros, or to remain in the GRDF with Keith.

SEE GRDF, DECISION POINT 3
SEE OUROBOROS, DECISION POINT 3

The Nemo Project, Decision Point 3, General Resources Path:
The first task for Nemo and Keith after Dision leaving the GRDF was to destroy Neucom's air and sea forces on Megafloat. Not far into the mission, the pilots saw the Night Raven annihilate the entire floating fortress in merely one shot of its laser (and with a cool cutscene too..). In the midst of the chaos, they were ordered to destroy "The Heart of The Serpent", the Sphyrna, Ouroboros' headquarters. The Sphyrna was successfully destroyed, after much resistance, but in a desperate move it launched two aircraft, the Aurora and the Night Raven before it dived into the sea. The chase after the Night Raven brought the pilots to the underground metropolis, the Geofront. Inside the Geofront, Nemo and Keith tried to stop Night Raven by collapsing the underground city upon itself, trapping the Night Raven. However, the idea didn't work as expected when the Night Raven escaped to Port Edwards. This lead to a long and tedious duel against the superplane, ending in its destruction.

Acting as reinforcements is the Aurora, but it too, was destroyed at the cost of Keith's life.

The next day unknown prototype fighters came out of nowhere circulating over Port Edwards. After succesfully hacking one of the planes' controls, flying it alongside its XFA-36A, Nemo destroyed the whole squadron, returning back to base with one of the fighters. The fighter was later identified as the Geopelia, speculated to be a production version manufactured by Neucom from the Night Raven prototype.

The Nemo Project, Decision Point 3, Ouroboros path:
Nemo decided to follow Dision into the Ouroboros group, and was given the Ouroboros version of the XFA Game. As part of their terrorism programme, Nemo, Cynthia and Dision attacked Port Edwards' main facilities, buildings and bridges, as well as V-22s carrying fleeing Neucom officials before they inform their main base at Megafloat of the imminent OB threat. In an alternate path where Neucom officials do escape and Megafloat is informed of the attack, Nemo was quickly sent to Megafloat to take down the anti-Sphyrna defenses newly deployed around the floating city.

After the mission, Nemo was tasked the attack on the UPEO headquarters, to destroy the UPEO fighters above and UPEO facilities on the ground. After taking down its assigned targets, Nemo dives into the underground hangar in a stunning display of ability, killing the escaping Park in his private Osprey.

The next Dawn, Nemo confronted an unstable Rena in her prototype fighter, the X-49. Having a huge performance advantage, Rena dodged close to every single attack Nemo threw at her. Eventually, an old acquaintance, Keith, joined the battle and attempted to shoot down his former mentor, Dision. In the midst of the 2 vs 2 battle, Keith, seeing there's no end to this showdown unless a drastic change in the flow of battle takes place, sacrificed himself by crashing into the Night Raven, heavily damaging it and making it an easy target for Nemo. Nemo eventually destroyed the Night Raven, and seeing what Dision has done to his once-wingman pilot, turned against the heavily guarded Sphyrna in a huge one sided battle. Nemo succeeded in downing the Sphyrna after hours of struggling with the escort defenses.

Having no other choice but to take down Dision, the two fought each other over the Sphyrna's remains until Dision loaded himself into the Electrosphere. Rather surprisingly to him, Nemo followed Dision into the Electrosphere where they had a virtual duel in the open dimension. After some time, Dision eventually slipped and lost against Nemo.

Nemo is a computer. Nuff said. Ever played a game with an unbalanced AI that can snipe you from the other side of the map using a pistol and makes you rage? That's Nemo.

Updated; Simon didn't wipe Nemo off of the Electrosphere, he simply deleted the simulation and gave Nemo to the SARF.

Where does it say he gave Nemo to SARF, or to anyone for that matter?

His fate is unknown as far as I know.

Also, add the correct accreditations, whoever put the info there.

Meh, truth. I'll edit out that part, and put in the accreditations.
