OVERVIEW:
The Tactical Laser System is the first Laser Weapon capable of being fitted on an Aircraft. The TLS can deliver fire power capable of destroying any Vehicle, Aircraft or Ship at Ultra-Long Ranges. Also, it is capable of maintaining it's Beam during firing, allowing for the pilot to sweep the Beam and destroy many other enemy targets. There are two versions of the TLS. The initial version which is seen on the ADFX-01/02 Morgan. While it has the same amount of fire power, it's range is shortened. It's Beam is red and the TLS must be mounted externally. There is also the modified version, seen on the ADF-01 Falken, which is just as powerful as the Production Version, but has a longer range. It's Beam is blue. In 2020, a 'Laser Extender' component is created for the TLS. When installed in the TLS, it's irradiation time is extended.

The Tactical Laser System is first used in 1995 by a force known as "A World With No Boundaries", at Avalon Dam. It is seen again during the Circum-Pacific War in 2010 on board a modified ADF-01, re-designated the ADF-01F Falken.

Browsing through the Japanese Wikipedia (remember the ADA-01?), I found something interesting. While reading through the ADFX-0X and ADF-01 articles I found the mention of a mineral called zoisite, which appears to be the TLS's source of energy. Here's a couple of links:
