MOUNT NEVERA
- Captured Auerilian Jamming Facility -

Geography:
The area surrounding the jamming facilities is fraught with craggy mountains and deep valleys. Just to the north is the Aurelian capital city, Griswall. Mount Nevera is the tallest mountain of the entire mountain range.

Leasath - Aurelia War:
Leasath, seeing the tactical value of the mountain range, set up a network of radar jammers to bog down Aurelian offensives or counter-offensives at the top of Mt. Nevera. The facilities both detected enemies and directed allies in the area to detroy enemies, while attacking targets itself. The Main Jammer Facility at the top of Mt. Nevera guided High Performance SAM sites and an AA guns. This air defense network was capable of destroying both aircraft and any bombs, missiles, etc. fired by an aircraft, before it could hit the target.

Forces of the Aurelian Air Force and Army attacked Mount Nevera before attempting to retake Griswall, the capital city. Gryphus 1 managed to destroy all jamming facilities around the main jamming facility on top of Nevera, before finally attack the main jamming facililty. Upon this victory, the Aurelian Military pressed north to retake Griswall.

Wait a second...

Those jammers blow up missiles and bombs if you shoot at it directly, before you damage the facilities around it, right?

Yes they do in fact. The only SP Weapon used for attacking them head on without shutting the Facilites is the TLS.Other than that they just blast Missiles out of the sky.Including the LSWM!

The jammers itself don't blow anything. Apparently, there is a high-performance SAM and AA Defense Network on the summit of Mount Nevera that is the hand of God towards incoming ordnance.

True, except it was NOT captured, Leasath built the thing after they invaded Aurelia. AND it does NOT double as a radar. The jamming hinders BOTH sides from using radar effectively (Mission 10A: Leasath Transport <<Are there really enemies around? How many, and from what direction?>> and <<Control Tower, Control Tower! Do you read? Dammit, I'm not so sure this jamming was a good idea!>>). The radar is ONLY at the top of the Mt. Nevera, and shortly after you fly within range, something like an ABL blows you up, I'm not kidding! 5 sec. and you're dead, even if you evade the SAMs!

Article fails to mention the presence of the Skylla Unit in 11B.
