Stand Canyon

Geography
Stand Canyon is located in a deserted area of southern Aurelia between Kingshill and the city of Santa Elva. The canyon contains large amounts of natural resources that supplied Aurelia's industries. Craggy canyons with little vegetation cut through the desolate area.

Leasath - Aurelia War
Davis Unit, a special Aurelian ground unit, was em route to launch an attack on the Aurelian held city of Santa Elva. With the intention to retake the city, the Davis Unit enter Stand Canyon, but was trapped by Leasath forces in the canyon. Gryphus Squadron was dispatched to provide aid to Davis Unit to dissipate enemy forces and provide safe passage for their allies. During the operation, the Gleipnir provided long-distance aid to Leasath with its SWBM missiles. Gryphus Squadron was forced under the canyon rim for the remainder of the operation, in order to evade the long-ranged attacks. The Gryphus Squadron succeeded in their mission and secured a route to attack Santa Elva.

Later, the Davis Unit was stranded in Stand Canyon. The threat of long-ranged attacks not a factor, because of the damage inflicted on the Gleipnir. This meant that an Aurelian Rescue unit could enter the area, but it was up to the Gryphus Squadron to hold off all Leasath Military Forces. What was left of the Davis unit was rescued before they were annihilated, thanks to Gryphus Squadron.

And the rescue unit that saved the Davis unit (besides Gryphus) was Milvus Squadron. Gryphus held off the enemy forces until Milvus arrived and they (Milvus) took care of the rest.
