Geography:
The Aurelian port at Terminus Island not only serves as a naval base but also a platform for petroleum storage. Terminus Island itself is a baren, icy island with no vegetation. The sea is full of ice floes, making the area hard for Naval Vessels to traverse.

Leasath - Aurelia War:
Terminus was taken by Leasath in the early stages of the war and served as a supply station for Leasath's ultimate aerial weapon: the Gleipnir. Leasath protected the island with a vast defense network.

Following an attempted attack on Aubrey Air Base, the Gleipnir made a water landing at Terminus Island. From Terminus, the Gleipnir launched multiple Shock Wave Ballistic Missiles to halt Aurelian offensives across the country. Aurelia's 1st and 2nd naval fleets were deployed to stop the Gleipnir's attacks, receiving air support from the Aurelian Air Force's Gryphus Squadron.

Early on in the assault, the Gleipnir annihilated the Aurelian navy and most of the Aurelian aircraft with two volleys from it's Shock Cannons. Despite the extensive damage, Gryphus 1 continued to engage the Gleipnir despite its Retro-reflective Projection Technology ("Optical Stealth") and managed to damage the Gleipnir. With its Retro-reflective Projection Technology damaged and its SWBM Launchers destroyed, the Gleipnir is forced to climb to high-altitude and escaped from the Aurelian Forces. It then flew to its forward deployed maintenance center in Santa Elva for emergency repairs.
